Coaching Application

Coaches are crucial to the success of our program; however, being a coach is also a great responsibility that the Comanche Youth Council Board does not take lightly.  Because of our concern for the health and safety of the children in the community, we ask that ALL coaches (including assistant coaches and those that help only in practice) complete the following application.  Upon completion, please return to the League Commissioner or any member of the CYC Board.

Conduct Rules

1. Un-sportsman-like conduct will NOT be tolerated.

2. Sportsmanship is key to the success of youth sports in Comanche, now and in the future.

3. Coaches are responsible for the conduct of themselves, their players, parents, and fans.

4. Any coach that is ejected from a game MAY NOT be allowed to continue coaching for the remainder of  the season and may not be eligible to coach in any season thereafter.

5. Failure to adhere to the basic rules of conduct will result in ejection, forfeiture, and/or suspension.

I give permission for the Comanche Youth Council (CYC) to conduct a background check on me whick may include a review of criminal and child abuse records maintained by governmental agencies. I understand that if appointed, my position is conditional upon the league receiving no inappropriate information on my background. I hereby release and agree to hold harmless from liability CYC or its affiliations, the officers, employees, and volunteers thereof, or any other person or organization that may provide such information. I also understand that regardless of previous appointments I may not be appointed to a volunteer position. If appointed, I understand that prior to the expiration of my term, I am subject to suspension by the President and removal by the Board of Directors.

In addition, I understand the above stated conduct rules.  I also understand that failure to follow these conduct rules will result in my ejection, forfeiture of the game being played, and/or suspension from Comanche Youth Council events.
